Murray and published with support from The Nature Conservancy, this collection celebrates the coastal regions of the world with essays from 23 writers whose experiences span three continents, three oceans, and over one hundred and fifty years. It is part of The Nature Conservancy series of anthologies in which each volume gather both classic selections and contemporary writings on a celebrated natural environment.
